I am a Particle Physicist, Data Scientist, Software Engineer and enthusiastic bike packer with a passion to solve real world problems with data. The idea for bikepacking map arose after a three week bikepacking trip through Italy. The desire to display my whole trip in a single map, similar to the ones you see in the Tour de France route visualizations, led me to develop this tool as I was not satisfied with the tools on the marked. I hope you enjoy using it as much as I enjoyed developing it.
